Environmental Champions.
We nurture Kenyan primary school students (Grade 7-9) into Environmental Champions through mentorship, Green Clubs, and hands-on leadership programs that create lifelong impact.

How We Build Environmental Champions
Our model creates a ripple effect of mentorship, leadership, and environmental action across rural Kenya. Each step builds on the previous one, multiplying impact exponentially.
Partner with Schools
We register public primary schools across rural Kenya, identifying those most impacted by environmental degradation and where students can benefit most.
Select Champions
10-20 students from Grade 7-9 are selected based on passion and commitment. They join as Environmental Champions and begin their leadership journey.
Mentor & Train
Senior champions mentor junior ones. Champions learn environmental skills through Green Clubs, hands-on projects, and peer-to-peer teaching.
Build Leaders
Through leadership pathways, champions progress from Seedlings to Guardians, gaining skills, confidence, and community influence at every level.
Multiply Impact
Each champion mentors 3-5 others, starts a club project, and influences their community, creating an exponential ripple of environmental awareness.
Mentorship Changes Everything
When an older champion mentors a younger one, both grow. Our mentorship program creates bonds that transcend school walls and transform communities. Research shows peer mentorship increases environmental knowledge retention by 65%.

Senior Champions Guide Junior Ones
Grade 8-9 champions mentor Grade 7 newcomers, sharing skills, knowledge, and confidence through weekly meetings and joint projects.

Green Clubs: Where Champions Are Made
Every partner school has a Green Club — the heartbeat of our program. These clubs meet weekly, run environmental projects, and serve as incubators for the next generation of environmental leaders. Schools with Green Clubs show 23% higher student engagement.

Livelihood & Economic Empowerment
Fruit orchards, tree nurseries, and VSLAs. Champions learn sustainable livelihood skills that generate income while protecting the environment, creating self-sustaining programs.

The Data Behind Our Mission
Kenya has 32,603 primary schools serving over 10 million children. Only 12% have structured environmental education. We are bridging this gap, one champion at a time.

Our Proven Impact
Before & After: The Champion Effect
Our programs transform barren school compounds into green, productive spaces while building confident young leaders who inspire their entire communities.

From Barren Land to Green Campus
Our Green Clubs have transformed school compounds across Kenya, turning degraded land into thriving ecosystems with trees, gardens, and orchards that feed and educate students.

Water Conservation in Kitui
Endoo Primary School now harvests rainwater from 3 buildings, providing water for the school garden even during the dry season. Student Mwangangi designed the system himself.

School Orchards Feed Communities
8 schools now have fruit orchards that reduce lunch costs by 30% and provide nutritious fruit. Mavoko Primary harvested 200kg of mangoes last season.

Champions Become Leaders
15 senior champions have graduated to Guardian level, becoming community ambassadors. Daniel Mbugua now leads county-wide river restoration efforts after starting as a Grade 7 Seedling.
